Work as needed in the internal med setting seeing patients of all age groups. Also work full time conducting Compensation and Pension exam for the VA,

I am willing to precept student enrolled in distance learning programs.

Cardiology

Hospice

I visit hospice patients wherever they may live -- their homes, nursing homes or assisted living facilities -- to ensure comfort, treat symptoms, and assess for continued eligibility to hospice. This preceptorship involves a lot of geriatric assessment, but probably less treatment decisions than other preceptorships.

Nephrology

Ideally the student should be interested in nephrology and in the care of those with chronic and end-stage renal disease.
