Position Description

Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Locums - North Carolina, Weekend Nights

Weekend-only inpatient cardiology in North Carolina, near Raleigh with full travel coverage included.


Highlights

  • Friday-Sunday overnight shifts (7p-7a)
  • Round and consult only; no procedures
  • Great part-time or PRN option


Practice Setting

  • Inpatient-only cardiology coverage
  • Work alongside Non-Invasive and Interventional MDs
  • Adult patients only
  • Support from ED staff, hospital team, and on-call MD


Schedule

  • Three 12-hour night shifts/weekend (Friday-Sunday)
  • Ongoing blocks still available
  • Stable rhythm without weekday conflicts


Cases and Procedures

  • No procedures required
  • ~15 patients/night: 10 rounds + 5 consults


Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner
  • Board Certified
  • Active North Carolina license (not open to IMLC)
  • BLS and DEA required


Travel Accommodations

  • Mileage, lodging, and rental car fully covered
