Position Description

ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate to join a well-established Structural Heart team in Greenville, NC. Applicants with at least 1 year of experience are preferred. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP.

Job Highlights include:

· Employment by ECU Health Physicians

· Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, home to the East Carolina Heart Institute

· Established structural heart team of 4 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Provider

· Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities will include admissions/discharges, consults, rounding, writing orders, preparing for procedures, H&Ps, clinic coverage with providers in addition to APP clinics, working with coordinators and nursing to answer pre and post op questions for patients/family/staff

· (4) 10hr shifts per week with occasional weekend coverage depending on census

· Premium pay for any weekend coverage

· 29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents

· Excellent compensation and benefit plan

· Applicant required to have ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
